AIA STATE WRESTLING

A huge shout‑out to our McClintock Chargers wrestlers — Terry Holmes, Bryan Zavala, Xavier Reynoso, Isaac Rubenstein, Jamal Abubakari, and Santiago Encinas — for representing us at the 2026 AIA State Wrestling Championships at the Mad House on McDowell in Phoenix.

Jamal battled his way to within one win of the medal round, and every single Charger stepped onto that mat with heart, toughness, and pride. While we didn’t achieve our goal of placing at State this year, the experience, growth, and memories these athletes earned will stay with them for a lifetime.

They learned, they competed, and they represented McClintock with class.
